Jeffrey Roy, CS said: August 30th, 2011 6:56 pm As a Sommelier, I find that your lamb is the best in texture and flavor (even the lesser priced cuts) much like my French Canadian father taught us was "Superior Lamb". I promote your farm and the store that carries it in our area at my wine tastings. Good Wine deserves good Lamb!

Hi my basque family, Although you are not my family, I consider you as one of us. I have been raised in Tracy all of my life and have grown up eating lamb which I love. I have never tasted such wonderful lamb. I have eaten much lamb throughout the country, even Omaha Steaks lamb and the lamb and Costco and I remember the lamb I ate growing up but since I have tasted yours, NOTHING compares. The taste and tenderness is absolutely fabulous. You can have anybody call me and I will tell them the same. It's even better than the lamb served at the Wool Growers in Los Banos. You have to know how to prepare it (Garlic) but the secret is how it is grown. You guys are #1 as far as Charlie and I are concerned. Keep up the good work. Love Lena and Charlie Selna.

We have lived in this area for over 20 years. How did I never hear of this Basque family farm?? My husband just tried your spicy lamb stix and loved them. We will definitely be in contact for leg of lamb soon. My father also came to this country from the Basque Country on a sheepherder's contract (in the 1950's) So awesome to see the culture alive in this area. Wonderful culture, wonderful people.

I first learned about the Frank Basque Family Farm when I read an article about them in the Sacramento Bee in 2014. So I asked if they sold directly to the consumer and they said yes. Since my family loves lamb and we live in Gold River (Sacramento area), it was an easy drive to Stockton for pickup. The lamb is delicious and very tender. My siblings and their families love the lamb shank stew my husband makes for Thanksgiving (as an additional meat with Turkey, of course). We also enjoy the tasty lamb sticks and they are not greasy or fatty at all. We always make sure to have some in the freezer and order when our supply is getting low. We are very grateful to be able to order directly from the farm and have been ordering from them since 2014! Thank you Basque Family from the Tamano Family!

Having grown up in the San Joaquin Valley foothills as a neighboring family I appreciate the quality of your lamb. This is the lamb I remember eating at my grandmothers table. Can't get it anywhere else. www.horseboardingtracy.com
